MORGAN ROUTES DESCRIBED

PROPOSED PATH LINES THROUGH MORGAN COUNTY

Each proposed line on the PATH map is assigned a number:

#72: A new line that starts in Pin Oak (Hampshire County) at existing line #71. It travels north through Largent and then along the west side of Cacapon Mountain just above the Cacapon River. It ties into existing line #73 at the northern end of Cacapon Mountain (near Coolfont).

#73: An existing line that passes through the county just south of Berkeley Springs. It crosses Cold Run Valley Rd, U.S. 522, Sugar Hollow Rd., Johnson Mill Rd., Theodore Hovermale Rd., Peter Yost Rd. and Eckerd Drive. It then ties into existing line #75 (see below) at the northern end of Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area.

#74: A new line that starts at the north end of Cacapon Mountain. It follows a path slightly south of #73. It crosses Cold Run Valley Rd., U.S. 522, Waugh Rd., Johnson Mill Rd., New Hope Rd. and Virginia Line Rd. It then ties into #75 at the north end of Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area and heads toward Berkeley County.

#75: An existing line that ties into #73 at the north end of Sleepy Creek Wild Life Management near Spruce Pine Hollow. It crosses Rt. 9 north of Pleasant View Elementary and Clone Run Rd. before passing into Berkeley County.

#76: Is a short extension of an existing line that enters southern Morgan County and then heads toward Fish Hatchery Rd.

#77: An existing line that travels northeast from Fish Hatchery Rd. and exits Morgan County north of Sleepy Creek Lake.

#78: A new line that cuts across the southern part of Morgan County. It crosses U.S. 522 and then runs south of Fish Hatchery Rd. Heading north of Unger, it crosses Winchester Grade Rd. before entering Berkeley County.
